Why are Singapore girls so difficult to love?

Hi,
My brother lives in Singapore and has been trying to find a GF/wife for himself here. He has signed up for various dating agencies. But most Singapore girls he finds are too demanding and difficult. Either his dress is “not just right” or his taste in food is “weird”. Some girls even refuse to split the bill or let my bro pick up the tab, insisting that they pay themselves. Just what is going on? My bro tries to date only 30 yrs + girls (he is 35). If girls this old are being so difficult, what about younger girls? Is this the reason most Singapore men look for brides outside? Or is my brother unlucky?

Looking for a relationship: When is enough well and truly enough?

I have never in my life had a committed girlfriend / relationship and I’m of the age where many of my friends are married / soon to be married. Every girl I’ve met & cared for has either cheated or lied to me, or I have not been capable of maintaining their interest for long. At one time I fell well and truly into the nice guy category and more lately, I’ve lost much of my personal morals and values and given up on some of the beliefs about relationships, life, God, love that I held with such high regard.

I read a lot of Hollywood statements like “she will come one day” and “there’s someone for everyone” etc, but nothing detracts from the fact that you are either good enough or you are not. My optimism has bought me far, but never helps me cross the line, and slowly, slowly, I feel like the fight isn’t worth it anymore.

Of the last 3 relationships, for the first, I was used and avoided. The second, there was alot of lying and misunderstanding which caused me to wait 4 months for a girl who never showed up again after dissappearing. The third, the girl has been on and off with the attention she pays me and I am distrustful because she does not view me as a lover, but as something more innocent. (I am a very gentle guy by nature, and refuse to be some knob-jockey ‘alpha male’ just for the sake of controlling anyone).

I have tried internet dating, dating agencies, attempting to meet people through friends, travelling, social groups and nothing has resulted in even a single meaningful connection, but rather a great deal of wasted money and a great deal of heartbreak.

Although I think I’m not bad looking, have a steady job, fun and smart, I have perceived that I am not a desirable type of guy (because of skin colour / ethnicity), am often misjudged and overlooked. When I find a connection, I feel that it’s my money or possibly status that makes the connection, not really my personality. I have not had luck in creating any solid unions for the past five years or so. I have discovered that my measure of how I should be treated in relationships has been dealt so many blows I don’t really know if I’m being ‘too good’, ‘too naive’, or ‘too defensive’, etc.

My question is, are these signals that I need to prepare myself to stay alone for the rest of my years? Does the lack of experience or positive relationships mean I cannot hope for something healthy that will last in the future? Has anyone else faced this reality, and what have you done about it to make life more peaceful being alone?

What is the best way to set up microsoft access to allow me to see what my inventory will be on certain dates?

I run a small promotion agency that runs events for two companies. I am looking for a way to have an inventory connected to a calendar. I want to be able to click on a date and be able to see what items will be in my inventory on a given day, and likewise I would like to be able to sign out pieces of my inventory on given days. I believe using Microsoft Access would be the way to go, but any computer program would work. Any ideas?

Is Cebu Pacific allowing travel agencies to book flights in advanced of their advertised Piso Fare sales?

Cebu Pacific, a Philippine airline company, has become famous and much sought-after for its popular Piso Fares that cost, literally, a peso each (exclusive of travel tax and terminal fees). There has been a lot of incidents happening lately, that a day in advanced of the one of the airline’s scheduled Piso Fares, most of the flight dates are booked solid during the travel period.
Is Cebu Pacific intentionally blocking their flight schedules during sale dates, or are they giving various Philippine travel agencies first dibs at securing dirt cheap airline fares that they, in turn, sell to their clients at regular rates?

How do u like Sheriff Joe Arpaio approach to immigration what if every city had this ?

A “concentrated crackdown” on illegal immigrants started Friday night in Maricopa County. Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced he’s dispatched more than 200 deputies and posse members to saturate valley cities and roadways known to be corridors for human smuggling.

East Valley hot spots include Bush Highway, U.S. Highway 60 and “any major highway,” said deputy chief Brian Sands.

Arpaio said he’s also opening a hotline for tipsters to report suspected illegal immigrants.

Arpaio said the program is comprehensive and controversial, but that it’s constitutional.

“We’re not going to go out on a street corner and round up people because they look like they’re from a foreign country,” Arpaio said Friday.

He said it’s nothing like Chandler’s infamous 1997 “roundup,” in which police officers swept the city in search of illegal immigrants.

He added that no one has complained about racial profiling since his deputies began detaining illegal immigrants.

Arpaio said his deputies have already arrested and jailed about 614 illegal immigrants on felony charges since the Arizona law against human smuggling passed in March 2006.

The deputies’ strategies for the crackdown aren’t necessarily different from those they’ve been using already to target immigrants who have likely employed a human smuggler to help them enter the country.

But they’ll have greater resources and more manpower with which to work.

Deputies will use SWAT, aviation and electronic surveillance, night vision and high-tech weaponry to target vehicles commonly used to move large numbers of illegal immigrants, Arpaio said. If such a vehicle is stopped for speeding, for example, anyone inside the vehicle who’s determined by deputies to be an illegal immigrant will be arrested and jailed.

Arpaio stressed the need for probable cause to arrest a suspect. That means a vehicle must have a fake license plate, be speeding, run a red light, or break some other law before deputies can pull over the vehicle and question its occupants.

The crackdown, which has no end date, will utilize 160 deputies and officers who’ve been trained by federal agents to enforce immigration law.

Of this group, 15 officers will be devoted strictly to the human smuggling unit funded by the state. To fill the personnel void this unit has created in the ranks, the sheriff said his office is recruiting officers from local and national police agencies to join his office through lateral transfers.

To further add to his numbers, the sheriff will deputize 64 federal immigration (ICE) agents on Monday, which will enable them to act as both federal and local law enforcement agents.

“We are quickly becoming a full-fledged anti-illegal immigration agency,” Arpaio said.

Arpaio also announced a hotline for citizens to call with information or evidence about illegal immigrants. He plans to advertise the hotline by posting its phone number on the sides of sheriff’s trucks.

He is unsure off how his office will be able to use the tips provided. “It’s an intelligence gathering tool,” Arpaio said.

Was I an A**hole or was it justified?

-Met a woman 11 years older than me at work
-She is divorced, 3 kids, bipolar
-She told me about a guy she was having sex with who was living with his girlfriend
-We had a FWB relationship to start with
-She text me all the time, we went out for lunches, met the kids, she slept over
-Got a new job wanted to stay in contact with her
-She slept with a guy she had met in a nightclub and text me to say he hadn’t spoken to her since but didn’t tell the unavailable guy
-I had a bit of a go at her and said she should not give it away so easily
-She slept with him a week later and told me about it after I found messages, she described in detail but at the same time she was going on dating agencies
-Got worried about above behaviour and mentioned it to my boss at work
-She had a go at me and said horrible things
-I told unavailable man what she was doing
-She cut off contact spread rumours at work about me
-I have since apologised but no further contact

Can a guy be attractive to girls but be 22 and never had a girl attracted to him?

Im 22 and never had a GF, date, kiss or had sex and I know that I have done everything in my power to fix this in the last 6 years but I can’t do much more. I have read every self help book, been to clubs and pubs, been to social classes (still do), dating agencies, tried latin dancing, tried new hair cuts/clothes/colognes, tried the looking approach and failed the not looking approach and definitely failed lol, but most of all I have just been friendly and been myself but I dunno honestly what else to wright except is it better to just move on with life because this quest is quite emotionally draining and kinda hurts lol and I just think maybe if I just live my life without trying to fix my dating situation I can at least save myself the stress and worries of the whole thing. I ‘m a full time kindergarten teacher which I love and I keep fit by doing Mixed martial arts everyday and thats enough for me.

lol I just have to mention I am an avid climber and my dream is to one day climb everest which I currently in training for now and I think I would have a better chance at accomplishing that than finding a girlfriend cos climbing everest is all in my head a mental and physical challenge which I can control and choose to say stop! enoughs enough but a girlfriend is someone that likes you… totally different
