Dating an Indian guy with conservative parents?

So there is this guy that I have an interest in and he has an interest in me. Unfortunately… our religious views are not the same. He is hindu and im not religious at all. I think the biggest problem lies in the fact that his parents will likely not approve of me.

Is there anything I can do to make them like me upon meeting them for the first time?
he is american.. his parents were raised in south africa, but w indian heritage

I’m a 16 year old caucasian female, and my boyfriend of 6 1/2 months is a 17 1/2 year old indian. He’s not like hardcore indian, but hes hindu. lol. i really dont think it’s that big of a deal, but people in my school apparently think it is. ive been teased a billion times about it, but i really dont care.

I just find it so hard to believe. When Indian guys date out or marry out they usually go for White girls and I have never seen or heard of one with a Latina before. I am so shocked at just hearing of a pairing like this, I mean she is a beautiful brunette with the best body and he is a well built doctor. I mean wow, I feel creepy for being this astonished.
