15 minute dating – Anyone have any information?

I have seen tv specials and heard of 15 minute dating where you go to a hall and sit and talk to the opposite sex for 15 minutes or so and then switch partners and just repeat the process till you get around the room. Does anyone know of where I can find out info on this? I am from York, PA and I just want to look into it and see if they have a local group that does this. Thanks.

Dating Sites–Do they really work?

So, while I can get guys at the bar, I dont want guys at the bar. I’m sick of meeting people and they being alright, but not great. Trying a dating site has been on the back of my mind–and now I’m wondering more about them. Do they work? Are there ones for local young professionals? Are they free? Are they just ugly people who can’t get anyone and are sitting at home all the time on their computer?? I would like more info on personal experiences please!

How to travel through Italy for 3 weeks and stay with people in homes or stay in convents?

I am an American citizen in my 50′s and want to spend 3-6 weeks in Italy. While there I would like to stay with residents in their homes or possibly in convents. I know such spaces are available but don’t know where to look on he Internet. I am also interested in making contact (prior to my arrival) with local residents in the communities where i travel. Does anyone have any suggestions for websites? I am not looking for a dating situation – just new friends.

How can I dedicate my life to saving or helping other lives?

I just want to put my life to use by helping others because I see it as a duty to be fulfilled. I sought dating as something that isn’t worth it, so I want to know how I can help save lives like The Humane Society, ASPCA, or any local community work. Any ideas or tips on how to start?

Are all the good guys taken by age 27?

Im 22 and I just started vet school. Its a lot of work and I am really busy but I do have some free time. The problem is the school is out of the country and there are very few guys there (I dont want to date a local because I plan on coming back to the states). I am worried that I will be 27 and still not have a guy! Do you know people who have actually had time to date people when they were in professional school?
